Based on the design of a rare mid-nineteenth century Persian Serapi, this Gandhara Serapi design TB01 recreates its inspiration in every detail. All of the warm colours, the elegant abrashes, and the balanced assymetry one finds in the great period Serapi carpets can be sound here, in what we think are the most faithfully recreated modern Serapi carpets available today. Size 8'10" x 11'10". Woven by hand in wool on a cotton foundation by expert weavers in northern Pakistan.
